I would try the 7 grain bread because the ingredients look good to me.
I would love to try the cinnamon raisin…it would make some great french toast!
Hi Cheryl-thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. Have you tried Three Bakers 7 Ancient Grains? They are now selling at Giant (frozen food section)? It is awesome! I used to have to order online. We like Canyon Bakehouse too, especially th cinnamon raisin French toast š
I shared right away on my FB page and I saw this great breakfast recipe on the Canyon site that I would try right away… Uses the mountain white and makes like an egg cup with the bread as the cup.
I’ve heard several people rave about this brand. I think it’d have to go with French toast…with maple syrup, yum! Off to post on twitter.
Love all their breads especially the cinnamon raisin.
Yum! Would love to try the cinnamon raisin
I’d probably try the cinnamon raisin with some peanut butter. I have a coworker who heard up cinnamon raisin bread in the office each morning, and the smell taunts me.
White and 7-grain to make some GF stuffing for the holidays!
Definitely would make french toast with the cinnamon raisin bread! Haven’t had good french toast in a long time! š
I would so make french toast!!
I would make some sunbutter and jelly sandwiches for my son. Those are his favorite.
I LOVE cinnamon raisin bread toasted with butter! That would be my first choice!
I would want to make French toast!
I think the first thing I’d make is frozen bread since I’d want to eat it slowly.
Toast with homemade almond butter!
First I would smear two slices with lots of butter. Then I would cook an egg over easy and melt some extra sharp white cheddar on top. Slide the egg onto one of the bread slices. Crumble some crisp bacon on top. Place the other slice of bread gently on top. Flip the sandwich over so the bacon and cheese are on the bottom. That way you can keep peeking to see where the runny yolk is. When you get to the yolk, take a SMALL bite, and then more gentle bites. Don’t worry, if the yolk drips onto the plate you can always sop it up with the bread.
Canyon Bakehouse is the only bread I would try this with. All of the other gluten-free breads I have tried fall apart and would never hold up to a runny yolk sandwich. Not only does it have the best texture, but the taste is BETTER than any gluten bread I have had.
I would make a gooey grilled cheese sandwich.
I’m extremely sensitive to eggs, but Canyon Bakehouse 7 Grain bread is worth the upset stomach! I would only have a sammich made from it once every two weeks to give my stomach time to heal, but I’d certainly like to go at it again. I honestly refused to try it toasted; it made for a perfect cold AB&J that I would never want to ruin!
Drumroll please: and the winner is Jenny! She said:
