Happy September!
Hoping this finds you well.
If you’re off to school or work, here are some ideas for gluten-free breakfasts. It’s an older post, but just it’s been updated.

Or, if you’re looking for something a bit more indulgent, this Chocolate banana bread is gluten-free and has low-FODMAP options.
Research updates:
- Of course, IBD and IBS are different conditions. But there are many IBD patients with IBS symptoms—approximately 1 in 3 patients
- Different diets for different IBD patients? Of course! 6 nutrition phenotypes in IBD patients
- There are a few new papers on POTS—this one with full text, a consensus paper, and this new review from JAMA
- GI issues correlate with ME/CFS: not a surprise, but nice to see it confirmed.
- Low FODMAP diet for endometriosis…a systematic review of the 5 available studies. Limited data, but low FODMAP can likely reduce GI symptoms when present.
Enjoy autumn!
