We’ll talk about:

  • Different gluten free whole grains and flours and how to use them
  • Many GF ways to get fiber
  • Easy ways to make meals and baked goods healthier
  • Ways to make sure you’re getting the nutrients you need
  • and much more!

This class is 2 hours and we will be making a delicious quinoa dish

Workshops taught by Cheryl Harris, Registered Dietitian& Nutritionist. There will be tasty goodies and samples!   Classes are engaging and a lot of fun, and feedback from previous classes are here. Don’t let a gluten free diet keep you from doing what you love!  We’ll talk about dining out, and strategies to stay safe whether there’s a gluten free menu or not, and tips for local and international travel.   We’ll also talk about ways to make sure you’re getting what you need for long term health.

Be Sweet to your Body

Trying to find a great way to kick the sugar habit and delight your sweet tooth at the same time? Learn all about eating without high fructose corn syrup, cane sugar, aspartame or other artificial sugars. We’ll be talking about ways to substitute stevia, agave, honey, maple syrup, fruit and more in eating and baking and discussing new sweeteners too. Find out about great products, good websites and cookbooks that use wholesome sweeteners. You’ll get a chance to sample yummy treats and learn how to make some at home for your favorite Valentine, or yourself!

This class is 90 min and we will be making Bittersweet Chocolate Chestnut Fudge, which is gluten free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free and totally delicious.

Refund Policy: If you cancel more than two days before the class, you will get a full refund. If not, you are more than welcome to make arrangements to attend a future class.
