Busy Mom Spiced Winter Fruit

2 large organic apples, chopped
1 large organic pear, chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves (or less, to taste- we like it spicy!)
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup pecan pieces

Mix all together, tip into a casserole dish. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about 30 mintues (stick it in the oven when you’re sitting down to dinner, and take it out when you’re done!). It makes the kitchen smell like apple pie, and it’s great for kids with sensory issues- the fruit isn’t too soft, but it softens enough to get them to eat the skin of the apple and pear. Enjoy!
